Office based with Hybrid approach, CW9 7LL. Job Title: Head of Finance Business Partnering (Permanent). Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible in line with business needs). Salary: £68,300 per annum, plus Casual Mileage Allowance. Location: Based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich. The Trust operates an agile working environment combining Head Office work and home working.
Weaver Vale Housing Trust is seeking a driven, diligent and friendly Head of Finance Business Partnering to lead the Finance Business Partnering team and support budget holders and stakeholders.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a professional, engaged and friendly individual to join our Finance Business Partnering team to help develop and drive the function.
What Will You Do?
* Provide direction, development and management of the Finance Business Partner team (revenue and capital expenditure) and lead in the provision of support to budget holders and stakeholders.
* Lead and coordinate the preparation and overall review of budgets and input into the Business Plan; oversee the production of monthly budget holder information and Financial Performance reports, including reforecasts; maximise the capability and capacity of the Business Partnering team.
* Lead on automation of reports, systems and efficiencies within the Finance Service; guide the team through a period of material change.
Minimum Requirements for This Role
* CCAB qualification or equivalent with evidence of continued professional development.
* Strong IT system skills with experience of automation and creating efficiencies.
* Substantial accountancy experience within a similarly regulated environment.
* Demonstrated experience of leading a business partnering team and culture.
* Demonstrated experience of leading a team through change.
* Understanding of financial IT systems (e.g., Open Accounts).
* Thorough knowledge of financial accounting and financial control.
This role requires the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.
