If you enjoy unpicking complexity, designing smarter processes, and making finance systems actually work for the people using them, this is a role with real challenge and opportunity.

A well-established, privately owned international business is seeking a Finance Process Improvement Lead to support systems and process development as they enter a key phase of modernisation and growth. The finance team now needs extra horsepower to help scale up and build the foundation for the future.

What the Role Involves:

This is about digging into the engine room of the business- how data flows, how transactions move, and how systems connect. You'll be mapping, analysing, and improving core finance processes (P2P, O2C, fulfilment, etc.), helping to streamline operations and increase efficiency across a multi-entity setup.

There's travel involved (short trips to European teams), close collaboration with finance and treasury, and a huge opportunity to make lasting improvements.

What you'll be doing:

* Mapping current finance processes and identifying inefficiencies
* Leading process improvement initiatives, from idea to implementation
* Improving data flows across finance and operational systems
* Supporting automation and smarter reporting solutions
* Working closely with stakeholders to drive change that sticks

What you'll needs:

* Strong experience in finance transformation, process design, or systems improvement
* A background working with ERP systems (design/configuration experience is a plus)
* Excellent understanding of core finance processes and data management
* A hands-on, proactive approach - this is a doer's role, not a desk-based strategy post
* Great communication skills and confidence managing multiple stakeholders
* Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, commercially minded business

Working Arrangements:

* 6-12 month FTC with strong temp-to-perm potential
* Inside IR35 (for day rate contractors)
* Hybrid working: 2 days from home, flexible around delivery
