As an Operations Support Manager at Securitas, you’ll help elevate service delivery, protect people, and build lasting trust where it matters most. This role sits at the heart of a prestigious aerospace and defence contract, where leadership, accountability, and operational excellence are essential daily. You’ll oversee site security operations, support investigations and disciplinaries, and act as a first point of contact for employee queries. Working closely with operational management teams and our client, you’ll help maintain exceptional service standards in a safety-critical environment.
By managing SLAs and KPIs, you’ll drive performance, support operational teams, and ensure contractual commitments are consistently met. Job Description
What you'll be doing:
* Be the first point of contact for operational employee queries.
* Assist in updating and maintaining customer information as required.
* Ensure rostering is accurate to minimise pay queries, avoid dropped shifts, and enable timely production and dispatch of accurate invoices.
* Maintain staff HR records and personnel files for the contract as required.
* Take detailed notes on issues including investigations, disciplinaries, capability and performance, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
* Assist in managing direct and indirect costs to meet the requirements for effective operation of the contract (recruitment, training, expenses, etc.).
* Ensure accuracy of operational data, regularly review progress, highlight risks of significant variances, and take action as needed.
* Support the contract with preparation of audit and compliance reporting.
* Assist in recruitment and succession planning to ensure capability to deliver high levels of service and contingency.
* Ensure staff and officers comply with Securitas policies, procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements, with appropriate levels of control.
* Actively participate in and support the development of the contract through involvement in Securitas strategy, company and area initiatives and projects.
* Carry out reasonable requests from the contract, client and senior management, including support during emergency and unusual situations.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
* Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
* SIA Licence: Valid Security Industry Authority licence
* Driving Licence: Full valid UK manual driving licence (site subject to road laws).
* Proactive & Detail-Oriented: Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent organisational, customer service and communication skills
* Good standard of IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
* Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
* Experience in using rostering systems (e.g., Timegate).
* Previous experience within the Security Industry
Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance.
