Position Overview
Personal Assistant to support a young woman to access the community 19.5 hours per week, HU9 area.
Responsibilities
* Support transfers from bed to wheelchair to chair.
* Provide personal care and dressing assistance to get ready for the day.
* Assist with toileting, nutrition and drink preparation.
* Put on and remove callipers as required.
* Support the daughter by preparing a pack-up in the morning and escorting her to and from school on occasional occasions.
* Engage in social time to access the community to support the woman and her young daughter.
* Carry out some domestic tasks.
* Be flexible with working evenings and weekends; hours can be discussed at interview.
