About Our Client
Due to continued growth, the client are looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor on a part time basis to start ASAP at their offices in Tilbury. The role will predominantly be supporting a high volume of employee relations cases, as well as engage in project work to improve the overall HR function and drive best practice across the business.
Job Description
As a Senior HR Advisor your key responsibilities will be:
3. Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on a wide range of HR matters e.g. policies, pay, benefits, and employment legislation
4. Keep up to date with employment law and ensure any changes are implemented effectively within the business
5. Lead disciplinary and grievance investigations, advise line managers on process and outcomes
6. Prepare for negotiation meetings with Unions
7. Assist the admin team with processing payroll
8. Assist the HR manager with recruitment activities
9. Work closely with OH to ensure absence management is monitored and reduced
10. Lead and support with ad hoc HR projects
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will:
11. Be CIPD qualified or qualified by experience
12. Have worked in a fast paced, high volume environment
13. Be confident managing complex ER cases from start to finish and have experience leading investigations
14. Able to work on a part time basis minimum 25 hours per week
15. Be local to Tilbury
16. Have excellent communication and relationship building skills
17. Be professional in their approach
