Occupational Health Technician
Location:Milton Keynes Area (Peripatetic)
Salary:£26,200 – £29,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Contract:Permanent – Full Time or Part Time
Hours:Monday to Friday, flexible between 08:00 – 17:00 (occasional early, late and night shifts)
OH Medical is currently recruiting for an Occupational Health Technician to join a leading Occupational Health provider in a peripatetic role covering the Milton Keynes area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced OHT or someone looking to further develop their career in Occupational Health, working across a range of client sites delivering health surveillance and wellbeing services.
This role will involve travel to client sites across a range of industries including manufacturing, engineering and pharmaceutical environments, delivering health surveillance clinics and health promotion activities.
The Role:
* Delivering health surveillance including spirometry, audiometry, skin assessments, HAVS and forklift truck medicals
* Supporting wellbeing programmes and health promotion activities
* Undertaking DSE assessments and providing workplace advice
* Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
* Working independently on client sites following training and induction
* Supporting clinical audit, data management and governance activities
* Providing occasional administrative and operational support
About You:
* Experience working as an Occupational Health Technician or within a health surveillance role
* Competent in spirometry, audiometry and health surveillance
* Phlebotomy, vaccinations and ECG experience would be desirable
* Strong IT skills and confident using Microsoft systems
* Ability to work independently in a peripatetic role
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
* Flexible and able to work occasional early, late or night shifts
