Residential Practitioner

Tasks
As a Residential Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
Providing constant supervision and care for children in a residential setting.
Offering emotional support and building trusting relationships with the children.
Offering guidance and education to families on parenting and child development.
Connecting families with community resources and support services.
Conducting home visits to assess living situations and provide in-home support.
Working towards family reunification when possible.
Skills
To excel in this role, you will need:
At least 6 months of prior experience working with children in a residential setting within the UK.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Registration under the PVG scheme.
A full driving license (preferred).
An SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
