What is possible?
1. Responsible for the optimisation of resources to deliver production plan, managing resources on a shift basis.
2. Participates in and support advanced troubleshooting, coaches’ others to learn these skills. Ensures UIRs are created for exceptions. Support continues improvement culture by leading RCA, MOCs, Manufacture Excellence when required.
3. Networks with other PSMs to improve effectiveness in role and leveraging best practice.
4. Role models EHS behaviours, implements and measures effective QSHE programme in their area, following up where standards do not meet requirements. Manages behavioural safety.
5. Leads emergency response team on site.
6. Creates an environment that fosters team and individual empowerment. Establishes and models expected behaviours for an empowered organisation.
7. Be the focal point between maintenance department and production to ensure service requests are value added and aligned with the Business, Function, Site Plant and team goals. Actively participate in planned maintenance and shutdown meeting to ensure the activities are scheduled in a safe and optimal manner.
8. Manage the permit to work coordination team to ensures appropriate resources are allocated to perform tasks and activities.
9. Provides a resource with plant knowledge and experience to coordinate Plant Activities.
What do you bring?
You will have experience working within a chemical manufacturing site with awareness of complex operations and health and safety regulations. You have team management experience and ideally a degree in chemistry or engineering or equivalent work experience. Any experience with Emergency Response will be advantageous
