Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior TIA Coordinator/Medical secretary post within the Stroke department at Kent and Canterbury Hospital. This post is for per week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent administration skills and a confident approach to management & experience of leadership roles. The candidate should be able to adapt to a changing environment and show confidence, knowledge and experience in the use of hospital based IT systems.
Main duties of the job
Management of the TIA service.
Line management of TIA Coordinators and Stroke medical secretaries.
Provide comprehensive administrative, clerical and audio typing support to Consultants and their teams where needed.
Work in a team based secretarial service providing support for each other and ensuring continuity of the service.
Act as point of liaison between patients, GP's, other staff and outside agencies.
