Job Description:
MCS Group is supporting a large public sector organization based in Belfast in hiring a HR Business Coordinator. The role includes:
1. Supporting the Human Resource Manager(s) in managing human resources and employee relations issues according to policies and legislative requirements.
2. Acting as investigating officer for grievances and disciplinary cases, following HR policies.
3. Managing HR records related to recruitment, discipline, sickness, overtime, leave, etc., and developing reports for management.
4. Monitoring and auditing departmental HR performance data, including attendance and agency work.
5. Participating in absence management, disciplinary, and grievance processes as needed.
6. Assisting in managing sickness absence and ensuring compliance with absence policies.
The Person
Applicants should have:
* A 3rd-level qualification in Business Studies, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
* Experience working in a unionized environment.
* Advice and guidance experience in key HR areas.
