We are seeking a Packaging Technologist to lead the development, introduction, and continuous improvement of packaging solutions supporting both internal and OEM products. This role is responsible for managing packaging specifications, driving improvements, and ensuring robust validation and quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new packaging formats and specifications in line with customer and business requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and cost‑saving initiatives aligned with manufacturing objectives
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to introduce new packaging into manufacturing
- Ensure packaging materials and specifications are available and fit for purpose
- Lead packaging validation and testing to confirm product fit and function
- Manage changes to address product quality, cost, and design issues
- Investigate packaging defects and approve corrective actions
Skills & Experience
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Knowledge of packaging development, validation, and testing processes
- Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis capability
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
