Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Bid Manager on a 9 month FTC basis to join their London or Hampshire office. The role involves helping win business and retaining and growing it by managing high profile and complex tenders. The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing work winning processes resulting in measureable commercial success.
The Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day project management of bids, following the firm’s defined bid process and timelines.
* Oversee bid qualification, develop win strategies and themes, and guide content development.
* Coordinate technical and commercial reviews to ensure high-quality tender and pitch materials.
* Ensure bids are creatively delivered and aligned with client expectations.
* Coach pitch teams to present clear, compelling, and client-focused propositions.
* Support continuous improvement in bidding practices and promote best practice across the business.
The Candidate:
* Proven track record in managing bid processes and delivering commercial success within professional services, with 5+ years of experience in tender management.
* Skilled in developing win strategies, leading storyboarding workshops, and creating compelling value propositions.
* Strong project and people management abilities, able to lead multiple bids under pressure while motivating cross-functional teams.
* Confident communicator and relationship builder with excellent attention to detail, influencing skills, and a collaborative mindset.
