Group Financial Controller
Location: London (Hybrid Working)

A highly regarded Capital Markets Advisory firm in London is looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to take ownership of financial reporting, control, and consolidation across a growing international group. This is a high-impact, senior role with exposure to leadership and strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly consolidated group accounts
* Deliver timely and accurate financial control reporting
* Produce the group cash flow forecast with ongoing analysis and insight
* Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and manage the year-end audit
* Manage group tax matters, including transfer pricing arrangements
* Take ownership of a co-investment vehicle, including accounts preparation, tax and loan scheme administration
* Design and implement accounting policies across the group
* Drive the automation of financial reporting and consolidation processes through technology
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting robustness and efficiency
* Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects
* Line management of one direct report
Candidate Profile:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years post-qualification experience
* Degree educated with a 2:1 or above
* 15+ years’ experience in a senior finance role, ideally within Financial Services or Capital Markets
* Proven expertise in group consolidations, financial controls, and statutory reporting
* Strong understanding of transfer pricing and group tax structures
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
* Experience with systems implementation and process automation tools
* A proactive and collaborative leader with excellent attention to detail
