Customer Team Member
Location: Pickaquoy Road, Kirkwall, KW15 1RR
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: 20 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (10.15pm) and weekends, to be discussed at interview.
Full, paid training provided.
You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm.
What youll do
* Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first in everything you do: respond to queries, champion Co‑op products and Membership, and deliver a great shopping experience.
* Work together to make everyones day better – support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
* Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
* Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, share experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together.
* Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events.
