Reporting to the Clinical HR Team Leader, an exciting opportunity has become available as a Clinical HR Assistant on a permanent basis. This role will ensure a professional and seamless HR service is delivered to clinical staff as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Provide a first-class administrative and HR service in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the HR Staff hub recruitment team, department contacts, hiring managers and clinical employees.
* Support onboarding of new clinical staff, including drafting contracts, ensuring relevant compliance checks and paperwork are in place, handling clinical contract and pay queries, advising on medical staffing matters, and setting up new starters on the HR system.
* Manage a busy inbox, provide professional and timely advice, meet deadlines, and use initiative to resolve queries while building strong relationships.
* Get involved in key clinical projects and wider HR projects and initiatives; contribute ideas to improve ways of working.
* Understand and support wellbeing initiatives as part of the Clinical School Wellbeing Programme.

* Hours: full time, 36.5 hours per week. Hybrid working with 2 office days per week.
* Location: Clinical School Office on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
