Rail Maintenance Electrician - Greater AngliaA client of mine is currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover sites across the Greater Anglia region, ideally based around the Stansted area.Working Hours Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:30Additional hours may be required depending on workloadOccasional weekend workingRequired to respond to callouts as needed The Role Duties will include: Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) across electrical assetsCompleting worksheets accurately and submitting to Head Office weeklyMaking recommendations regarding plant conditionSubmitting Life Expired Asset reports where necessaryCompiling remedial works lists following PPM visitsAssisting the Contracts Manager with costingsOrdering materials and submitting paperwork weeklyAttending training and Health & Safety courses as directedFollowing correct accident and incident reporting procedures Requirements Fully qualified Electrician (qualifications will be verified)Experience within reactive and planned maintenance environmentsFull UK driving licenceComfortable working independently across multiple sitesFlexible to respond to callouts Salary Up to £40,000 depending on experience Benefits 20 days annual leaveAuto-enrolment pension (3% employer / 5% employee)Company vanFuel cardiPad and iPhone providedDoor-to-door working day Callout & Overtime Contractual callout: 1 in 4 weeks (currently operating closer to 1 in 6 - flexibility required)Callout hours: 17:30 - 08:00 for 7 consecutive daysStandby payment: £125 per weekMinimum 4 hours paid per callout attended Overtime Rates: x1.5 - Monday to Friday 17:30-08:00 & Saturday 08:00-14:00x2 - Saturday 14:00 through to Monday 08:00
