Cover Supervisor
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting General Cover Supervisors to work across a range of partner secondary schools in Trafford and surrounding South Manchester areas, including Stretford, Urmston, Sale, Altrincham, and Chorlton.
Our partner schools regularly require reliable and confident cover supervisors to provide day‑to‑day cover across a variety of subjects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience, including recent graduates with teaching or classroom experience, aspiring teachers, or those with prior experience working with young people.
This position offers complete flexibility, allowing you to choose how many days a week you work, depending on your availability.

About the Cover Supervisor Role:
Supervising classes during teacher absence using pre‑set lesson plans
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting students to stay on task and engaged
Working across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4
Ensuring a positive and safe learning environment
Requirements:
Experience working with young people (schools, youth work, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
Ability to commute to schools across Trafford and South Manchester
A degree is desirable but not essential
Interest in education or a future teaching career is highly advantageous

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
