Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service/Callout Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and maintenance services for our products. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Install, test, and commission new equipment as per company standards.
* Completion of real-time job sheets and timesheets via PDA system.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
* Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications
* Minimum NVQ L3 Maintenance & Repair
* Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical role.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety protocols
