Qualifications:
* 4.0 EIPA score with a written portion and RID certification, or
* New Mexico Educator certification for interpreting in K-12 settings
* Proven experience interpreting in educational environments
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents
* Knowledge of K-12 educational practices and policies regarding students with hearing impairments
Location:Melrose, NM
Responsibilities:
* Provide interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, facilitating access to the curriculum
* Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective communication strategies
* Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities as required
* Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress as dictated by state and school policies
* Adapt interpretations based on the setting and the individual needs of students
