Description Working as part of the Measurement Solutions Internal Sales team in conjunction with Outside Sales, Product Managers and Sales operations colleagues in the UK and BU. The primary function of the role is to handle medium complexity inquiries and turn the Request for Quotations into Orders by sending to customers the best technical and commercial solution based on Measurement Solutions product portfolio. This role is key to supporting the account owners in the sales country to help achieve the overall bookings target by providing a rich customer experience through quality and speed of service, always striving to provide the highest standards of customer service in accordance with the Think Customer principles. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: To identify customer needs, understand complex technical requirements, liaise with customers, sales teams, factories and other departments (as needed) and determine the best solution to be offered. To size and configure the products according to the technical and commercial requirements such as specifications, application fit, documentation, testing requirements, target lead-time and budget. To create a quote in Oracle, assist with technical recommendations and submit the proposal to customers on time, technically and commercially accurately by offering the best solution. To verify that purchase orders are following the technical proposal and commercial terms offered. Resolve any technical issues that may occur with the customer. To contact customers (via email, digital platforms and or phone), collaborate with Outside Sales Account owners to engineer and understand customer requirements and sales strategy. To ensure full compliance with legal and Company requirements regarding Trade Compliance and Ethical Business and follow the necessary procedures. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Educated to HNC/Degree level in an engineering or technical field, or proven experience in the industry. Experience of using product and business systems and standard business reporting tools, for example, Oracle and CRM systems, is advantageous.
