We have a fantastic opportunity for a Tank Freight Transport Planner to join a well-established logistics team in Mallusk. The Role: Plan and allocate tankers, trailers, and drivers across NI, UK & ROI to meet customer requirements. Monitor live operations and update ETAs to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and workshops to resolve any issues quickly. Prepare and manage all transport documentation, including manifests, delivery notes, and compliance records. Ensure ADR and safety standards are followed throughout every stage of the operation. Liaise with maintenance providers for washouts and scheduled servicing. Maintain accurate system data and support continuous improvement in cost, efficiency, and service. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm Weekends : 1 in 4 Saturdays & Sundays (additional payment @£5K per year) The Ideal Person Will: Have 2-3 years' experience in transport planning (tank/bulk or ADR preferred). Possess strong knowledge of NI, UK, and ROI routing and regulations. Be confident using transport management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Stay calm under pressure and be highly organised with great attention to detail. Have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving. Understand driver hours/WTD and ADR compliance (training can be provided).
