Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager you are responsible for ensuring that daily tasks and goals are met efficiently and effectively. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of Projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. The Project Manager owns the Project Schedule which is required to generate resource demand for supporting functions, calculate milestone dates and track progress robustly.
Additionally, to own project budgets, monitor progress, identify and manage risks, and help to guarantee successful delivery of committed Projects.
Project Management
* Manage and execute the delivery of multiple Dynisma Projects / Programme to meet committed milestone dates and budgets in accordance with the business Portfolio.
* Manage own tasks and prioritise workload to ensure that decisions and escalations are made in a timely fashion.
* Ensure Projects are managed to an agreed budget and that Estimated Cost to Completion (labour and materials) is regularly reviewed and shared with relevant parties.
* Make Project level recommendations and decisions in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and project precedents.
* Take ownership of tracking Project progression against deliverable milestones within the Projects.
* Support the tracking of project progress and performance metrics to ensure that project milestones and customer-facing operational objectives are achieved or exceeded.
* Communicate any potential barriers to Project delivery and project risks to Programme Managers, suggesting solutions to overcome them and enacting these wherever possible.
* Ensure that Resource demand for active Projects is forecast, maintained and communicated to departmental managers and relevant internal stakeholders.
* Ensure that parameters of Project success are recorded and understood at the beginning of a Project.
* Identify Project or Programme-level issues, conflicts, budgetary or technical challenges. Bring proposed solutions for approval when possible.
Collaboration & Communications
* Ensure timely and accurate customer-facing information is prepared and proactively shared with Programme Managers.
* Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of information flow using suitable measures and tailoring communication to meet customer needs.
* Support the Programme Manager / Senior PM in preparing status updates for all relevant projects. Deputise at the Cross-Projects Exec summary meeting when required.
* Contribute to the continuous review of project management and customer needs to optimise spend and quality.
* Collaborate with Dynisma partners and suppliers to deliver the needs of the Projects.
* Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
* Promote sustainable practices that align with corporate social responsibility goals.
* Maintain accurate and auditable documentation.
