GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to work at schools in Maltby. This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers or early career teachers (ECTs) who want to deliver engaging lessons and make a positive impact on students' learning.
As a Geography Teacher, you will be instrumental in developing pupils geographical knowledge, curiosity, and global awareness, making a lasting impact on their education.
Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages.
* Encourage critical thinking, environmental awareness, and curiosity about the world.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
* Contribute to departmental planning, marking, and extra-curricular activities.
Requirements for the Geography Teacher role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Recent experience teaching Geography at school level is preferred.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
* A full, up-to-date CV with a clear employment history and explanations for any gaps in the last 10 years.
