Main Responsibilities to include:
Experience in the scaffolding sector, strong technical skills with scaffolding products will be a distinct advantage.
Management of 3 External Sales Reps nationally
Holding monthly Sales Meetings with external staff to discuss activity, opportunities and market conditions and offer support where required
Supporting Sales Executives and internal sales staff with pricing of enquiries and strategy
Key account management and maintaining good relationships with the customer base across the sectors we operate within. Liaising with individual major clients to ensure their continual loyalty and support
Setting tiered pricing structures across the business and monitoring market rates to ensure these are competitive
Screening potential clients for credit worthiness in tandem with the finance team.
Assessing and developing innovative and mutually beneficial payment options for large enquiries where necessary
Product and technical support both internally and externally on a national basis.
Project work outs for scaffolds, system scaffolds, stair towers & temporary roofs from site measurements or design drawings to generate parts lists and quotations both manually and using software where available.
Planning and implementing a marketing strategy including social media platforms using a structured and consistent brand identity.
Leading the brand and being an ambassador for the company and its identity to create a mix of operational and product-based marketing content.
Ensuring the business has a constant flow of marketing materials and promotional items for clients (user guides, brochures etc)
Planning and managing company and industry events (golf day/exhibitions etc)
Attending industry and trade body events across the regions.
Assisting with product development, testing and technical specifications.
The ideal candidate:
Demonstrable experience in scaffolding and access, with strong technical and commercial knowledge
Proven ability to lead and manage a national sales team
Strong client relationship skills and ability to engage at all levels
Commercially astute, with an analytical mindset and results-driven approach
Confident in developing pricing and marketing strategies
Comfortable presenting at meetings and events, both internally and externally
Proficient with project estimation based on technical drawings or site evaluations
