Job responsibilities
As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. Responsibilities include:
* Assist residents with daily living tasks, including food and drink, personal hygiene and mobility assistance.
* Follow individual care plans and provide one‑to‑one support.
* Offer companionship and support to help create enjoyable moments with residents.
* Monitor residents’ well‑being and report any changes to the care team.
* Maintain a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents.
Qualifications
* Some experience of caring for older people.
* Can‑do approach and excellent communication skills.
* Empathy and a warm‑hearted attitude.
* Ability to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all residents.
