Our service users are active and enjoy outings such as bowling, cinema visits, singing, and dancing.
Your New Role
As a support worker, you will support individuals of various ages and personalities, promoting their individuality and helping them live in accordance with their support plans. Your responsibilities include engaging in social, educational, and work activities to enhance their social, emotional, cultural, and physical well-being. The role involves personal care, general housekeeping, and domestic duties. Shifts may include days and nights, with patterns such as long days, wakeful nights, and possibly sleep-ins.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Applicants should have at least 6 months of experience in a social care role within the last 2 years. Experience in the learning disabilities field is desirable. You should be passionate about supporting people, flexible, adaptable, and able to build trust through a caring approach.
