A well‑established Windsor‑based accountancy practice is looking to recruit a part‑time, fully qualified ACCA/ACA with several years’ post‑qualification experience in practice.
This role would suit someone who is confident working independently, managing multiple deadlines and changing priorities, and enjoys reviewing and improving the work prepared by others.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and review of annual statutory accounts for limited companies
* Preparation and review of corporation tax returns
* Reviewing accounts prepared by junior team members and outsourced providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns prepared by junior team
* Providing guidance, mentoring and support to junior staff
* Assisting with ad‑hoc technical queries and internal process improvements
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
* Strong experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Proven ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities and workflow changes
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach to team working
