We invite applications for the B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer position, based at our Stornoway SAR Base.
Overall Purpose of Role:
Certification and line Maintenance, modification, repairs, and component changes on S92 / AW189 and any other aircraft required.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Certification at B2 level of S92 or AW189
Quality & Safety:
2. Help maintain / improve Company standards.
Training:
3. Where assigned, mentor Trainees.
Aircraft Ramp:
4. Marshalling, refuelling, ground handling.
Person Specification: (minimum education requirements, key skills, and experience)
Qualifications:
5. Minimum qualified B2 Type Rated on S92 or AW189 preferable, but a Type course can be provided.
6. B1.3 qualified on S92 or AW189 (desirable but not essential)
Experience:
7. 2 Years S92 / AW189 preferable.
Skills:
8. Computer literate, good communication, and human skills.
9. Problem solving
10. Be able to use initiative
This is a commuting 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster – travel and accommodation (whilst off shift) at own expense
