Additional Support Assistant (Mainstream)
Salary: £16,225 - £16,769 (Based on a full-time equivalent salary of £24,426 - £25,246 per annum)
Cardiff and Vale Colleges' award-winning Inclusive Learning team are seeking Additional Support Assistants to support learners enrolled on level 1 - level 3 courses across the college. These learners have Additional Learning Needs (ALN), Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (LDD) and are progressing towards adulthood.

Responsibilities include:
* Providing person-centred support to individuals and groups, fostering independence and resilience.
* Participating in annual reviews for learners with statutory plans, such as Individual Development Plans (IDP).
* Acting as a role model, champion, and advocate for learners with ALN or LDD.
* Collaborating with staff and professionals to promote learner independence.
* Supporting access arrangements and reasonable adjustments.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 5 GCSEs grade A-C (including Maths and English) or equivalent.
* Experience working with individuals with additional learning needs, learning difficulties, or disabilities.
* Experience in education or care settings is desirable.
