We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary contract for five months. The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is £22-24.00 per hour umbrella. The ideal candidate will have access to their own vehicle, have experience within Housing Manager and be willing to travel on patch 3 days a week. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Conduct viewings, sign-ups, and site visits, ensuring a positive experience and representation of the organisation Manage rent arrears collection via face-to-face contact, phone, or email Work within budget limits, including estate service charges, and support the Neighbourhood Manager with patch budget oversight Handle ASB complaints, interview involved parties, gather evidence, mediate or take action, and attend court when needed Provide welfare and benefits advice to help clients boost their income Assist the Neighbourhood Manager with incident and complaint investigations, including trend analysis Resolve tenancy breaches promptly and effectively Serve NOSPs, NTQs, and attend evictions as necessary Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate care and support for vulnerable tenants Maintain accurate records of arrears actions, contacts, visits, and agreement Experience required: Experience required in Social Housing Experience working with cus...
