We are currently seeking a Nursing Home Operations Manager to join our team and support homes across our South Division.
As a Nursing Home Operations Manager with our award-winning client, you will travel across your designated area to support our care homes, helping us maintain high standards and providing inspirational leadership to our teams. You will support homes that need additional assistance or where there is a vacancy for a General Manager. You will work alongside Care Home General Managers and Deputy General Managers to develop and implement action plans to meet residents' needs.
Your responsibilities include investigating formal complaints, collaborating with external healthcare professionals, promoting policies within care homes, and ensuring teams meet clinical standards through learning and development programs.
This is a permanent role requiring regular travel and overnight stays. In return, we offer a comprehensive rewards and benefits package, including:

Required experience and qualifications:
* Passionate about high-quality care and improving residents' lives
* Registered Nurse (RN) qualification or equivalent experience (desired but not essential)
* Significant experience in senior operational or leadership roles in care homes
* Turnaround home management experience
* Experience managing budgets, financial planning, and cost control
* Knowledge of regulated environments and compliance with CQC guidelines
* Proven track record of improving care quality and operational efficiency
* Understanding of regulatory requirements, including fire safety, health and safety, COSHH
* Proficient in IT systems, MS Office, and care management software
* Full UK driving license and ability to travel regularly and stay away from home
Role and responsibilities:
* Assume General Manager responsibilities and become a CQC Registered Manager if required
* Identify concerns through quality assurance, complaints, incidents, or accidents, and implement improvements
* Assist in preparing annual budgets with the support of our Business Manager and internal stakeholders
* Manage sales inquiries and promote the home within the local community
* Foster a culture of performance management
* Oversee staff recruitment, training, motivation, communication, supervision, and appraisal
* Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
