Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team. This role involves leading a team, producing and overseeing the quality of deliverables for environmental projects, including reports, designs, calculations, and documentation, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and time standards. The role also includes managing a medium-sized technical team and possibly acting as a people manager.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading a team to produce environmentally sound deliverables according to standards and client requirements.
* Preparing and checking reports, designs, calculations, and documentation.
* Managing junior staff and overseeing their work.
* Controlling project budgets and costs.
* Liaising with clients and suppliers, attending meetings, and responding to queries.
* Contributing to bids and business development.
* Working on-site as needed, including out-of-hours work.
* Assuming people management responsibilities when required.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Environmentalist or equivalent professional competency.
- Strong understanding of environmental management, design, and specification processes.
- Proficiency with relevant software and analytical tools.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting and training.
- Good knowledge of CDM regulations and risk assessment.
- Experience in managing interfaces and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Proven supervisory and management skills.
