JOB SUMMARY
B-Stock is looking for a QA Engineer to work within a cross-functional team to deliver high quality software for the next generation of the company's SaaS infrastructure. We are currently experiencing change (for the better) in our processes so we need someone who can be a tireless evangelist for Software Quality.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
2. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs on JIRA or similar bug tracking tool
3. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
4. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
5. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using Playwright/Javascript framework
6. Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
7. Design test plans, scenarios and scripts
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
8. 3+ years work experience in software quality assurance
9. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
10. Hands-on experience with black box and automation testing
11. Experience with automated testing tools and willing to learn new tools/technologies
12. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
13. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
14. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject preferred
15. Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving skills
16. Innovative and detail-oriented
17. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
18. Experience with AI integration in testing
19. Experience using tools like Claude for AI led test automation
The pay rate for this role will range between $90,000 to $100,000, per annum. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant’s work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.
