Assistant Front of House Manager

We're looking for a welcoming and customer-focused Assistant Front of House Manager to join our ultra-professional front of house team. You'll support the Front of House Manager in overseeing the guest experience from arrival to departure, ensuring every guest receives the outstanding service The Grove is known for.

About the Role

● Lead and support the Reception, Concierge, and Guest Services teams.

● Be the visible, approachable presence for guests throughout their stay.

● Manage daily operations and ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions.

● Step up in the absence of the Front of House Manager—making key decisions and supporting the team.

Leadership Responsibilities

● Help create staff rotas and ensure appropriate shift coverage.

● Conduct daily briefings and regular 1:1 meetings with team members.

● Provide coaching, guidance, and support to deliver high standards of service.

● Ensure seamless collaboration across departments for an exceptional guest journey.

Shift Information

This is a full-time, permanent role. You'll work on a rota basis covering:

● Early shifts: 07:00 – 15:30

● Middle shifts

● Late shifts: 14:30 – 23:00

● Night shifts (on rotation): 23:00 – 07:30

What We're Looking For

● Previous experience in a leadership role within front office or guest services

● Passion for delivering personalised, five-star experiences

● A natural team leader with great communication skills

● Calm under pressure and confident in making decisions

● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
