The Associate Director will play a key part in securing new work, leading major projects and developing the team.
The Role
* Leading complex residential and mixed‑use planning strategies
* Managing major client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
* Driving business development and generating new instructions
* Supporting Directors in strategic growth planning for the region
* Leading and developing a team of planners, including mentoring and performance management
* Financial oversight of projects, ensuring profitability and strong fee management
* Representing clients at Local Plan examinations, hearings and inquiries
* Supporting recruitment and team expansion plans

* Proven experience leading major planning projects
* Strong commercial awareness with fee and budget management experience
* Confident leader with experience managing staff and workloads
* Strong regional network across the South Coast development market
