My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds in our training programme who will be hitting the roads shortly. Due to COVID-19, there is a record number of learner drivers needing teaching, with test centre backlogs. In the last 12 months, our driving instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to high demand. Over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. Now is a great time to become a driving instructor.
Are you suited for a career as a driving instructor? Do you have good customer service skills? We have recruited individuals from various industries including driving (HGV, delivery, van, LGV, bus), IT (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering), and education (teachers, teaching assistants, admin, lecturers).
We provide full training, conducted locally whenever possible. Our pass rates are above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.
To qualify as a driving instructor, you must:
* Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
* Have not been banned from driving in the last 4 years
