The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Expert (365) to join our Systems Team. This role provides technical support and 3rd‑line expertise for Microsoft 365 and associated cloud collaboration services, ensuring they are secure, resilient and fit for purpose. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, supporting service development, operational stability and continuous improvement across our M365 estate.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical support of Microsoft 365 and associated cloud services, including Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Bookings and Zoom.
* Act as a subject matter expert for service security, resilience and disaster recovery.
* Ensure services are configured, maintained and documented to a high standard.
* Provide 3rd‑line support, incident resolution and escalation where required.
* Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and Cyber Security policies, including change and incident management.
* Contribute to service improvement and operational best practice.
About You
* Significant experience working in a technical systems or cloud services environment.
* Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft 365 services.
* Experience supporting enterprise‑scale cloud services.
* Good understanding of service security, resilience and ITIL practices.
* Able to manage multiple priorities and resolve complex technical issues.
* Relevant qualification or equivalent professional experience.

Salary: Grade 7: £40,757 to £47,921 inclusive of London weighting, potential to progress to £52,067 per annum (pro‑rata if part‑time).
Hours: Full time. Contract Type: Permanent.
Location: Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus.
