The Group currently has a combined network of over 625 franchisees across seven brands in the UK, North America and Europe.We own several market-leading brands with established trading histories: Metro Rod, Metro Plumb, Willow Pumps, Filta, and more recently, Pirtek in Europe - all of which benefit from the Group’s central support services, in particular; Franchise Support, National Sales / Account Management, Information Technology, Marketing, Finance, Recruitment and HR.What does it entail?This is predominantly an office based role at our IT Head Office based in Milton Keynes. Working across the entire Franchise Brands group the role will be primarily responsible for managing the IT support and helpdesk function within the business. Overseeing our security and auditing processes to ensure permissions are assigned as and only when necessary. There are large periods of large change coming for the IT department so the successful candidate will be able to deal with multi-tasking and potential issues coming from rapid change.Key responsibilities and accountabilities:Managing the support and helpdesk function across the groupOwnership of processes ie starters, leavers, and moversIT System maintenance and supportAsset managementSupport team management and developmentData protection and backupsResponsibility of assigning privileged rights and accessWhat IT experience are we looking for?The ideal candidate will be experienced in IT support and people management. Motivation and development of the team will be critical as is providing a high level of internal IT support across the business. The successful candidate will be able to analyse and improve processes as well as suggesting and creating new processes not already in place.
