Position: Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)
Location: Onsite 1-2 days per Month in Manchester
Salary: £60k + Benefits
I’m currently recruiting for an exciting Senior Cloud Engineer role with a well-established UK-based company who are leaders in their industry. They’re known for delivering cutting edge solutions across cloud services.
About the Role:
You’ll be joining a forward-thinking cloud services group, working alongside experienced engineers to deliver, support, and evolve customer platforms in AWS. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about cloud technology and looking to make a real impact in a growing business.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing, migrating, and supporting AWS environments
* Working on both production and non-production systems
* Supporting customer onboarding and cloud transformation projects
* Ensuring security, reliability, and operational excellence
* Staying ahead of AWS trends and best practices
What we’re looking for:
* Hands-on AWS experience across compute, networking, storage, serverless, IAM, etc.
* Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation, and scripting (Python/Bash)
* Strong understanding of modern cloud architectures and DevOps practices
* Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* AWS certification (desirable)
