We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to work in the Pre Operative Assessment clinic. This is a Bank Contract and an ideal opportunity for those who would like to develop pre‑assessment skills.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and delivery of care packages for patients undergoing POA for elective surgery.
* Responsible for a defined caseload of patients.

Collaboration
The Post Holder will work closely and collaboratively as part of the Preoperative Assessment Team and with all healthcare professionals involved in the care pathway of elective and urgent surgical patients, including:
* Preoperative assessment team on a day‑to‑day basis.
* All clinical and administrative staff that support the surgical patient journey.
* Admissions and scheduling staff across all surgical directorates.
