Band 7 MSK Specialist Hand Therapist
General Information
The MSK Service is an assessment, triage and treatment service. Patients are seen in a clinic setting within the borough and are given a full assessment and treatment as required on first appointment. The post holder will work as an integral part of this team to provide specialist Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy (OT) input to clients as part of the MSK Team within the hand therapy service providing prevention and rehabilitation strategies including complex splinting. To provide specialist Physiotherapy or OT assessment and treatment for clients with a variety of hand conditions including complex cases, within a clinic setting as an autonomous practitioner.
Working Pattern
Working Monday to Friday. Monday – Thursday 08:00am – 19:00pm, Friday 08:00am – 17:30pm. Duration – 3 months.

* A proactive approach and willingness to contribute within busy teams
* Must have the right to work in the UK and be physically present in the UK at the time of application
* Valid registration with the relevant governing body (NMC and/or HCPC)
* Fully compliant with NHS Framework or individual client standards.
Rates
* Approx days. £31.18 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
* Approx Bank Holidays £48.51 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval

Minimum Requirements to Apply
* Registration with the relevant professional body (HCPC/NMC)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience
