Overview
To provide information, advice, training, support and guidance to current and potential direct payments clients and / or carers, particularly with regard to clients and /or carers enabling them to take control of organising, purchasing and administering their own care arrangements. To assist in promoting the uptake of direct payments. To support the management team with the financial monitoring of the direct payments scheme. Attending Education, Health & care reviews in regard to direct payments. Review support plans as part of the long term monitoring with annual reassessment.
Responsibilities
* To be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with 4 GCSE Grade A-C including Maths and English, have good communication skills, numeracy and literacy, be competent in the use of a wide range of technology including Microsoft packages.
* Must be able to work independently with good organisational skills as well as working with other agencies and partners to achieve multi-agency outcomes for families. Be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. In return you will be part of a large supportive team.
Qualifications
