Description
AP Assistant responsibilities:
* Process supplier invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded in the system
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly
* Prepare payment runs
* Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and documentation
* Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to support month-end closing activities
* Respond to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
* Assist with the implementation of process improvements within the accounts payable function
* Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Profile
A Successful AP Assistant Should Have
* Previous experience or a strong interest in accounts payable or a similar role
* A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy in their work
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is beneficial
