We’re looking for aPlant Mechanicto join our Construction Geotechnical team – helping us keep our specialist equipment running smoothly in support of renewable energy projects across the UK.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting a variety of plant and machinery, from routine workshop maintenance to troubleshooting on remote sites. Whether it’s in our modern workshop or out in the field accessing difficult terrain with our specialist low-ground-pressure kit (like Hagglunds), your work will play a key role in the success of our construction operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics
* Supporting bespoke fabrication projects
* Keeping accurate records and developing maintenance schedules
* Ensuring full compliance with health and safety practices
* Travelling to site locations to carry out repairs when required
What We’re Looking For
* Mechanical and/or electrical experience with plant or machinery
* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
* Great team player with a proactive attitude
* Full UK driving licence (trailer licence desirable)
* First aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
