Applications are invited for two Robotic RCSEng positions in Urology in our unit. Both posts are accredited RCSEng and are full‑time fixed‑term appointments. The first post will commence in October 2026 and the second in March 2027 for a period of mandatory 12 months and are based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage. The RCSEng Robotic Fellow allows a fantastic opportunity for a senior registrar who wishes to develop a career in Robotic Urology. The department includes five robotically trained Consultants (three of whom are national and international proctors in Robotic Urology). The Trust has 2 X da Vinci Xi Dual Console robot and a CMR robot, which has further enhanced training opportunities within the department. The department is recognised as a centre of excellence by The Vattikuti Foundation, one of only three centres in Europe. During the two posts it is envisaged that the successful candidate will gain skills in a whole breadth of robotic procedures to include RALP, RALC, intracorporeal reconstruction, RAPN and Robotic Pyeloplasty. The posts are ideally suited to a post‑CCT (or equivalent) candidate who can focus on sub‑specialty training in Robotics. Our previous Fellows have published and presented at national and international meetings.
