Job Duties
* Assess and monitor foster carers to ensure safe, supportive, and high-quality care environments consistently.
* Conduct regular home visits to provide guidance, supervision, and ongoing support to foster families.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
* Collaborate with social workers, agencies, and professionals to safeguard children’s wellbeing effectively.
* Attend meetings, reviews, and case discussions to support informed decision-making processes consistently.
* Provide emotional and practical support to foster carers while addressing challenges proactively and professionally.
* Ensure adherence to fostering regulations, national standards, and child protection policies at all times.
Job Requirements
* Degree in Social Work or a related discipline with valid registration under Social Work England.
* Minimum of two years’ experience working with vulnerable children or within fostering services environments.
* Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, national minimum standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills to support effective case management consistently.
* Ability to build strong professional relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and families.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with children, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
* Flexibility and adaptability to perform effectively within a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
