The role of Project Worker will include:
* Regularly assessing the needs of customers by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment.
* Supporting customers in their day-to-day living, i.e., with cooking and cleaning.
* Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions.
* Assisting customers with managing finances and welfare benefits.
* Encouraging social inclusion and helping customers to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem.
* Ensuring Sanctuary Supported Living delivers its safeguarding responsibilities.
Skills and experiences:
* Proven experience of working with vulnerable people.
* A positive approach to working with young people who have a range of needs.
* Good interpersonal and customer care skills, with an approachable attitude.
* Effective communication skills.
* Sound knowledge of action/support planning, key working, risk assessment, and safeguarding.
* Ability to work on your own initiative.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar.
* NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards.
