An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised HR Advisor to join a small, fast-paced construction business based in Blackpool (40 staff). This is a stand-alone position, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, where you'll operate in a generalist capacity, across HR and compliance.
With a strong focus on recruitment & onboarding, training and accreditation management, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Leading recruitment and onboarding processes for permanent staff and subcontractors.
Overseeing fleet administration and compliance with construction accreditations (e.g., Supporting absence and performance management.
Organising wellbeing initiatives, employee events, and team-building activities.
Maintaining HR policies and procedures relevant to the construction industry.
Handling ER cases (low volume) and providing generalist HR support.
Proven experience in a stand-alone HR role, ideally within the construction industry.
Confidence in managing recruitment, onboarding, and training.
Knowledge of current employment law and HR best practice.
Familiarity with CIS schemes and construction-specific HR policies
Competitive Salary: £36,000 (flexible depending on experience)
