Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Carpenter/multi-skilled tradesman on a self employed basis. This role requires a strong background in various construction techniques and the ability to work with a range of materials and tools. The ideal candidate will be proficient and experienced in resedential development including: extensions, refurbishments and new builds. This position is crucial for ensuring the successful completion of various projects, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Duties
* Perform fabrication and assembly tasks using a variety of materials.
* Undertake construction activities on various sites throughout Kent
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
* Execute carpentry and joinery work as required on-site.
* Cooperate with health & safety requirements and site rules
* Undertake both first & second fix carpentry operations
* Engage in construction tasks to as a team and as an individual
* Carry out a range of construction tasks including but not limited to: Site setup, insulating, plasterboarding etc.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area and maintain a level of respect for the clients property.
* This role with include working in both habital and nonhabitated properties
Requirements
* Must be self employed and CIS registered
* be able to provide your own transport and tools
* Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry and joinery.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
* Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
