Due to expansion and growth in student numbers, we seek to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Curriculum Leader of Geography. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the subject, be an innovative and committed leader and classroom practitioner capable of teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 – 5, and have the drive to continually improve the subject. The role involves raising standards of student attainment and achievement, monitoring and supporting student progress, and holding high expectations for themselves, their team, and their students.
This is an exciting period to join The Buckingham School; recent £2.5 million renovation work has been completed, with more planned. The school has shown steady improvement over the past three years and aims to become the community school of choice in the area. We are ambitious, oversubscribed, and our students are fantastic to work with.
This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
